Immerse your child in the story of Creation as they plant new seeds, let them count the stars with Abraham, introduce them to the dangers of envy in the story of Joseph and the potential of leadership through the story of Moses. Each week centers around a new story with activities to engage the mind and the senses.
Literacy and math instruction occur every day at St. Mary's, often through play and stories. Children learn new vocabulary each week, as well as covering beginning phonics and sight words. In math, students play with money, and learn counting and shapes. Most importantly, students learn to love learning.
At St. Mary's, we believe in the power of play! Student engage their fine motor skills in arts and crafts, gross motor skills through our expansive gym and outdoor fields, social skills and self-care through guided and independent games, and begin their spiritual formation through weekly liturgy and the discussion of new virtues with each new Bible story.
